Ramadan, the blessed month, serves as a moment for ASA Group Indonesia to share love with others. This time, we chose to extend our care to the orphans at Maslahatul Ummah Orphanage, located in Kel. Manyar Sabrangan, Kec. Mulyorejo, Surabaya.
On April 23, 2024, a team from ASA Group Indonesia visited the orphanage, bringing the spirit of sharing. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the cheerful orphans. Their smiles were like the morning sun that brightens our hearts.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Maslahatul Ummah staff. They expressed their gratitude for ASA Group Indonesia’s concern for the children under their care.
After the welcoming remarks, the event continued with the distribution of aid. One by one, the children came forward to receive packages of basic necessities, decent clothing, and cash. Their faces beamed with happiness as they received the gifts. Some immediately hugged their aid packages tightly, while others smiled shyly.
In addition to providing material assistance, we also invited the children to play together. We organized various fun games, such as a cracker-eating contest, sack race, and guessing games. The children were very enthusiastic and cheerful. Their laughter echoed throughout the room, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
A company representative delivered a brief message to the children, emphasizing the importance of perseverance as the next generation in achieving their dreams. They expressed the hope that what was given would be beneficial. At the end of the event, we took photos together to capture this beautiful moment. Happy smiles were evident on the faces of all those present. We hope this activity will inspire and motivate the orphans to keep striving and achieve their dreams.
